Privacy Policy
Who we are
MomDadRemotely is an independent business based in Delhi NCR, India, and is responsible for the personal data described here. For anything in this policy, contact us at momdadremotely@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your first name and email address, when you sign up for the free info sheet.
- Optional answers: where your parents live (a general area, such as Delhi NCR) and what worries you most about them.
- Your consent, with the date you gave it.
- Emails you send us, if you write to us.
Please don't put your parents' health details, ID numbers, passwords or financial information in the sign-up form or in emails to us. We don't need them.
Why we use it
- To send you the free Parent Emergency Info Sheet.
- To send you a short series of educational emails, and occasional updates about new guides.
- To reply to your messages.
- To understand what topics families need help with, so we can make better content.
We process your data because you gave us your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who can see it
We don't sell or rent your data. It is stored and processed using these services:
- Google (Forms, Sheets, Drive and Gmail), which we use to collect sign-ups, store the list and send emails.
- In future, an email service provider and a payment platform, if we add them. We will update this policy when that happens.
These providers may process data on servers outside India. We may also disclose information if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove your name and email from our active list within 30 days. We may keep a minimal record that you opted out, so we don't email you again, and your consent record where the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: reply STOP to any email, or write to us.
- Access, correct or delete the data we hold about you: email us and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
- Complain: you may raise a concern with us first, and you have the right to contact the relevant data protection authority where you live.
We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and apply the core GDPR principles (consent, purpose limitation, deletion on request) for subscribers in the UK and EU.
Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use advertising cookies. It may load fonts from Google Fonts, and our social media and video platforms (Instagram, YouTube) have their own privacy policies and tracking, which we do not control.
Children
Our content is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Not medical, legal or financial advice
Everything we share is educational information only. It is not medical, legal or financial advice. Views are our own and do not represent any clinic or employer.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell subscribers by email.
