Terms of Service
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you book a Parent Call or buy a guide from MomDadRemotely, an independent business based in Delhi NCR, India ("we", "us"). "You" means the person booking or buying. "Your parent" means the person we speak to. By booking a call, ticking the agreement box on the booking form, or buying a guide, you agree to these terms. Contact: hello@momdadremotely.in.
2. The Parent Call service
We call your parent in Hindi, English or a mix, explain the topic you chose, and send you a short written report. The topics include scam safety, filling in the Parent Emergency Info Sheet or Binder, how hospital admission, billing and insurance claims work, phone and app safety, a video-call home safety walkthrough, and friendly check-ins.
What the service is not. It is an explanatory service only. We do not give medical, legal, financial or insurance advice. We do not explain test results, medicines, doses or symptoms. We can read out what a doctor has written and note your questions for the doctor. The service is not for emergencies. If your parent is unwell or in danger, call your local emergency number (112 in India).
3. Your parent’s agreement and safety rules
- You confirm that you have told your parent about the call and that they agree to it. If they do not agree, we will not continue.
- You introduce us to your parent first, with our first name and the call time.
- You choose a family code word. We say it at the start of the call.
- We call only at the booked time, from one fixed number, which you save on your parent’s phone.
- We never ask for money, OTPs, PINs or passwords, and we never hold cards, accounts or money. Your parent never pays.
- Your parent can hang up and call you at any moment. We will wait.
- We may end a call, and we will tell you why, if your parent seems distressed, confused or unwilling, or if the call is not safe or appropriate.
- We do not record calls unless your parent clearly agrees.
4. Booking, payment and scheduling
- You send a booking request through our form. A booking is confirmed only when we reply and you pay.
- We send a payment link in rupees (UPI, cards, net banking) or dollars (international card). Payment is due before the call.
- Prices are shown on our website and may change for future bookings. They include any taxes unless we say otherwise.
- Rescheduling: you can reschedule free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Late changes and missed calls: if you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, or we cannot reach your parent after two attempts during the booked slot, the session may be treated as used.
- Monthly Check-in: paid monthly in advance for four calls. Calls do not roll over to the next month. You can stop before your next payment date.
- Slots are limited. We may need to offer a different time.
5. Refunds for the Parent Call service
- If we cancel and cannot offer a time that suits you, we refund that session in full.
- If a call cannot go ahead because your parent has not agreed, we will offer one free reschedule or a refund of that session.
- If a call has taken place, we do not refund it. Please tell us if something went wrong, and we will try to put it right.
6. Digital guides
- When you buy a guide you get a licence to use it for yourself and your family. You may print and fill it in. You may not resell, share it publicly, upload it online or give copies to others.
- Guides are delivered electronically straight after payment.
- Refunds: because a download cannot be returned, we do not refund guides, except where a file is faulty and we cannot fix it, you were charged twice, or you did not receive the file. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase.
- Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law, including consumer protection law.
7. Educational information only
Our guides, calls and website give general educational information. They are not medical, legal, financial or insurance advice, and they do not replace a qualified professional who knows your parent’s situation. Laws, helplines, insurer processes and scams change, so please verify numbers and rules locally. We cannot promise that using our guides or services will prevent any scam, accident or loss, or lead to any particular result.
8. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information and keep the details on the booking form to what we ask for.
- Do not give us your parent’s health details, ID numbers, passwords or bank details.
- Do not use the service for emergencies, or to pressure your parent into anything.
- Treat our team and your parent with respect. We may end the service if the safety rules are not followed.
9. Privacy
We handle personal information as described in our privacy policy.
10. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by something outside our control, and our total responsibility for any one booking or purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Intellectual property
The guides, website text, logo and other materials belong to MomDadRemotely and are protected by copyright. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy, email hello@momdadremotely.in with the details. We aim to reply within 7 working days and to resolve the matter fairly.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law to use another forum.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply to bookings and purchases made after the update.
